Please read all of the information on this page, it includes address information and grading requirements
To be eligible to grade, you MUST:
- Have an in-date Licence, completed at least 9 lessons since your last grading and in the last 3 months (18 for blue belts and above in last 6 months)
- Know all of your practical syllabus for your current and previous grades.
- This includes – Pad drills, Line work, Freestyle/sparring skills, and 1/2/3 step – both traditional and freestyle, as required for your grade, Self-Defence skills.
- Know your current, and at least two previous patterns
- Know your current theory.
- Be able to complete the fitness requirements (or an adapted version if you have known injuries (please speak to your instructor about these).
These will be tested two weeks before grading; you will not be permitted to grade if you are not ready.

Please also enter your current belt size and whether you need a bigger one or are happy with your current belt size.
The belt should wrap around twice, and finish with the ends somewhere between the middle of your thighs and the top of your knees
You must have approval from your instructor before booking a grading.

(all grades up to and including 5th kup green belt blue stripe)NB – please allow extra time in your travel as the car parking can be very busy at times
